Matchcuts
Share |

Beating from the heart of Tehran, Matchcuts are an indie rock band formed in 2009. Influenced by alternative rock, electro house and Iranian folk the band's choping guitars, vocal melodies and break through drum beats build a global bridge through out the undergrounds of Tehran.

Being able to play live mostly at underground gatherings due to the abandonment of alternative music in Iran, the band has developed an abstract sense of treating the stage like the
living rooms that they usually play and break the fourth wall.
Consisting of art students, Matchcuts enjoy working with artists in othere fields
and attending events supporting human rights, love and life.
